Unsere Prismen bestehen aus optischem K9-Glas. Sie werden während des Herstellungsprozesses auf Klarheit und Unvollkommenheiten geprüft. Unsere Prismen werden von Hand geschliffen und auf unsere spezifischen Größenanforderungen poliert, um Konsistenz und Qualität zu gewährleisten.

Wie erzeugt ein Prisma einen Regenbogen?

Wenn Licht aus der Luft in das Glas eines Prismas gelangt, kommt es zur Lichtbrechung. Die Konstruktion des Prismas bewirkt eine Richtungsänderung des Lichts. Ein Lichtstrahl besteht aus vielen Wellenlängen. Jede Wellenlänge durchläuft das Prisma mit einem anderen Widerstand als die anderen Lichtwellen. Normalerweise verlaufen die verschiedenen Wellenlängen gemeinsam, werden aber beim Durchgang durch ein Prisma gestreut, sodass wir sie getrennt als Regenbogen sehen können.

Edelsteinwürfel sind zerbrechlich, daher empfehle ich, sie auf einem weichen Untergrund wie einem Würfeltablett aus Wollfilz zu rollen. Das weiche Tablett ist auch im Handel erhältlich.

I love the design and beauty of these too. They are not the least bit durable though. Two of the dice are chipped from being in the bag next to each other. I do not store them this way and it was a very short time placed together for transport before I noticed the damage. They were never even rolled.

I have well over 1000+ dice. These are, by far, the nicest I have now. They feel awesome when you have 2 or more in your hand shaking them. I tried but could not find an angle that does their beauty justice. I couldn't get a phone camera to capture the prism or rainbow they project. I bought the 11pc set and also wanted an extra d4 and d8, and they worked with me on that part of a custom order. Comes from China, so took a bit to get here. That said, they use a shipping service that gives daily updates. I have no doubt I'm going to be the envy of the table wherever I play now. :) Entire experience working with them has been wonderful. ONLY complaint would be that these are, indeed, very pricey. If you're a nerd like me that use dice in games multiple times a week..... worth every penny.

It's a very beautifull set of dice! They are just as advised (maybe even better, since they break the light). My next project will be a dice tray with infinty mirror at the bottom in order to shine light at them from below :). They also seem pretty durable since i've dropped them a few times about 1m to a stone floor by mistake.

These are amazingly beautiful dice! I’ve done a side-by-side comparison to show the difference when the light hits them. Photos don’t really do them justice as the best thing about them is the flashes of different colour you get when you roll them. I love that the numbers on them are easily readable. Dispatch was really quick - the day after I ordered them. I can’t wait to give these to my sister as a bridesmaid gift 😊
